The VisionMaster Certification Process
The certification process involves a series of certification workshops conducted by community college instructors. At each workshop, under the guidance of an existing VisionMaster, you develop a clear, compelling, comprehensive 5-part vision statement necessary to the development of the strategic plan of your social enterprise. You are free to modify, enhance and improve each part of your vision statement as often and as many times as you like. You present each part of your vision statement as it is completed to a 3-member judging panel, demonstrating the three VisionMaster skills. The judging panel will score your project. You must receive a combined score of at least 100 out of a possible 105 points to be eligible for certication as a VisionMaster in that part. Upon certification, you are authorized to implement the VisionMaster Strategic Planning System in your social enterprise.
Skills of a Certified VisionMaster
As a certified VisionMaster, you possess a set of 3 valuable skills that work together to enhance the growth and effectiveness of your social enterprise.
- The ability to visualize (to form a mental picture of something that exists only in your mind), based on your level of commitment, your interests, and your power of imagination
- The ability to communicate your vision, and thereby share it with others
- The ability to present your vision graphically, on paper or using any other presentation format of your choice
Workshop Fees
The fee for each workshop you attend is $15. The number of workshops required to receive certification is based on the scores you receive from the judges at each workshop. You may be declared eligible for certification after one workshop. Or you may need several workshops to be declared eligible for certification. Workshops are held monthly. To encourage you to attend your first workshop, this website provides coupons which you may use to offset the cost of any workshop.
