Agribusinesses Find Gold

We are building an Urban Agriscience Pipeline that will feed the agribusines industry, now seeking students who have made a career commitment to working in the agribusines industry.  

This pipeline will stretch from middle school to high school to college. It will contain hundreds to students. 

Each year students will join urban agriscience clubs, where they form career development teams for career exploration and career skill development.

Agribusiness Mentors
Urban Agriscience Clubs form career development teams. Each team has a mentor from the agribusiness industry. Mentors, working 2 hours a week for 28 weeks, will provide advice, guidance and knowledge of the skills and requirements to achieve success in the agribusiness industry

. 

Building Your Dream of Career Success 

A nationwide survey of state directors of Career and Technical Education, conducted by the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education reveals that 80% of these educators believe that entrepreneurial skills are important to the future careers of our students. Many states are moving toward including entrepreneurship competencies in state educational standards.   

Science Teachers

Science teachers are essential. As agriscience education expands, science teachers who are already trained in scientific methods bring value to urban agriscience projects.
